What is your mindset exactly? It’s the sum of how you think on a regular basis. It’s also where your intentions are born and factored into the making of your life. What you think is what you get. There’s no way around it. It’s a universal law or truth. Call it what you want, it rules what happens.
The mind has been studied for centuries and has puzzled man even longer. Think a moment about all the ways your mind can be described… strong, weak, open or closed, brilliant, creative, diabolical, cunning, sharp and smart. Now, which ways describe your mindset the best? This is where you start.
A good attitude encourages an energy of gratitude that flows naturally through your mind. When gratitude is infused into your mindset, it boosts the inherent power of your intentions. And remember, our intentions represent the sum of how we think most often… Our intentions make things happen.
When you doubt something, your intention is stuck in a state of revision. You don’t know what to ‘think’. However, a belief in the same something or in something else, can double or triple the likelihood that the intention will be achieved. That’s good odds, and it’s not about a gamble but a promise based on universal law. You can count on it, it’s real.
With a mindset primed by gratitude, you can do almost anything. Yes, there will always be exceptions, but they are much fewer than the possibilities. Your good intentions bring you things you are grateful to receive. Your gratitude powers up your intentions. In this way, life goes on and supports a positive mindset.
So, if you are starting from a place of negativity, mistrust, pessimism, or fear… how far do you think your best intentions are going to go before they are lost in the mire of your mind? Perhaps you are only negative some of the time. That’s a much better place to start from, but your mindset will still under power or undermine a part of your mindset that supports your good intentions.
The key is to adopt positive thinking as much as humanly possible. Improve everyday, accept only an attitude that’s grateful, think about your thoughts, and make changes that support your belief in possibility. Reject all the negativity you can and by doing so you will boost the power of your intentions.
Practice and allow your mindset to be strengthened and primed by gratitude. A focus on what sustains you, brings to mind many things you could not continue to achieve without… These things that exist now are the substance from which you will create more.
